This $2 million project will take place over three years, resulting in a total overhaul of all Fire Protection, Alarms and Water Supply for this chemical repackaging and storage facility.
Sebench Engineering is providing all design, project management for protection and witness testing all final installations. Operations at this facility include storage of propellants, flammable liquids, aerosols and other types of chemicals. Integrating up-to-date fire protection design into an existing facility presents many design challenges. Added to the variety of chemicals involved, and the goal of flexibility in reconfiguration options makes this an application ideally suited to Sebench Engineering’s alternative design capabilities. All work is being scheduled to minimize production interruptions, since the facility is actively operational.
