Sebench has had the privilege of working for the following major chemical concerns:
- Hemlock Semiconductor, a joint venture with Dow Chemical. Sebench has been the Fire Protection Engineer of Record for HSC’s expansion of their Hemlock, MI campus, and has overseen the construction and installation of all fire protection for the new HSC Clarksville, TN campus. Over 400 buildings have been either upgraded or constructed between these two sites.
- Pfizer Corporation has been involved in a multi-year upgrade which has involved over 40 buildings on several sites and has required innovative approaches to special hazards and design constraints.
- Amrep/Zep Chemicals, Marietta, GA is in year two of a three year upgrade. This project has required that construction and installation take place at night and on weekends to prevent interruption of operations. The nature of the hazard also requires that old systems cannot be removed until new protection systems are in place, tested and operating.
